Hello and Thank You for visiting my website! 
My name is Kim Leszczynski and I'm an artist and self-employed graphic designer living in Loveland, Colorado. I grew up in and around Detroit, Michigan and have been drawing and painting since I was 5 years-old. I started painting on a regular basis around 2006 and now, if I go a week without painting, I get cranky! Painting = Happiness for me.

The inspiration for my paintings is constantly changing. There is always something beautiful...in nature...in daily life...in the mundane...that moves me. When that happens, I'm able to see & feel the strokes and I know I have to re-create the scene.

At other times - usually after I've completed a highly detailed image - I have to 'cleanse my palette' and do something completely free and without a reference. There's something magical about placing brush to canvas and letting instinct & emotion take over.

Today, when I'm not doing "my day job" you can find me in the studio painting, working in the yard, walking my pup, Winnie or out in the world exploring and photographing whatever inspires me.
